Why we exist:
Explain before you persuade: Prime Economist was created by two co-founders who believe journalism should illuminate, not shout. We write for readers who still want to think before they believe, who value context over outrage, and who expect readable and verifiable reporting. When we take a view, we show our workings so you can judge the evidence for yourself.

Our editorial standards:
Sourcing and attribution: We prioritise primary or clearly authoritative sources and attribute them transparently. Corrections policy: when new facts emerge, we correct the record and note what changed, when and why. Separation of church and state: editorial and commercial decisions remain independent; sponsors do not shape coverage. How we are funded:
Financed from the founders’ personal funds, with clear labels. The co-founders cover our current costs. In the future, revenue may include sponsorships, partner materials and products. Whenever money is involved, we disclose it. Whenever content is sponsored, we say so up front in plain English, and we use standard link practices so relationships are clear to readers and search engines. Editorial judgement remains our own.
Our journey:
Launched in January 2025. Since launch, we’ve published steadily across explainers, how-tos and founder-focused features, with the Weekly Digest moving from pilot to a regular Friday edition in mid-2025. Our Top 10 Startups of the Month became a recurring spotlight, and Your Prime Guide developed into a consistent strand on the personal economy. We keep the site active and the archive maintained, and we update this page to reflect reality, not plans. Updated: November 2025.
